Me & Mrs Jones

Me and Mrs Jones graces the corner of Giles and Kennedy Street. It’s a picturesque location, complete with pretty flower boxes, a charming red picket fence and signage reminiscent of the mid-1920s when the building first opened.

The detailed fitout takes you back in time—perfect given Canberra’s Centenary.

Every inch of this 1927 building tells a story and holds respect for the historical aspects of the architecture and its importance in the Kingston area. A private function area exposes original brickwork, complete with a crack zigzagging up one wall and bits of old, local newspaper articles uncovered and left exposed, adding to the nostalgic feel. The strapping under the outside awning has even been meticulously reproduced.
